I'm off - Instagram Recap

Puuh, Sommerferien sind schon eine anstrengende Sache - vor allem wenn man die freie Zeit einfach mal nur genießen möchte. Da den ganzen Tag nur zu Hause zu sitzen aber auch keinen Spaß macht, haben mein Freund und ich letzte Woche unsere Sachen zusammengepackt und sind an den Wolfgangsee gefahren, haben einen Berg erklommen und eine Radtour gemacht. Ein paar Tage zu Hause und schon ging es ab nach Hamburg, wo ich mich gerade aufhalte. Solltet ihr nichts aus meinem super spannenden Reisealltag (Achtung Ironie) verpassen wollen, dann rate ich euch, mir auf INSTAGRAM (@klaudiamaria) zu folgen, denn dort poste ich immer wieder Updates wie meine Füße gerade aussehen, oder was ich gerade erstanden habe, und manchmal auch, wo ich mich gerade befinde.

What i bought in Barcelona

I phone case - Stradivarius, pen pocket and beauty case - MUJI

Hier ein paar der Dinge, die ich in Barcelona gekauft habe. Besonders über den MUJI Store habe ich mich rießig gefreut, da ich noch nie in einem war. Da wurde gleich einmal das Federpenal mitgenommen und ein Beautytäschchen.

Auch im Sommer ist meine Tasche vollgefüllt mit Krimskrams den Frau so braucht. Um aber nicht in Schieflage durch zu schweres tragen zu geraten, habe ich mir im Laufe der Zeit eine kleinere Kamera (um nicht immer die DSLR dabei haben zu müssen) und einen Kindle (um nicht zahlreiche Bücher rumtragen zu müssen) zugelegt. Die Tasche mag zwar immer noch voll bis oben hin sein, aber leichter ist sie allemal. Um frisch zu bleiben habe ich immer Sonnencreme, eine leichte BB Cream und ein kühlendes Gel für die Beine dabei. Und am wichtigsten: Wasserfeste Mascara um auf den Urlaubsfotos keine schwarzen Kreise unter den Augen zu haben (Ich spreche hier aus Erfahrung).

Even in summer i keep carrying around my bag - full of stuff a woman needs. But to avoid major back pain i decided to buy a smaller (but still good working) camera and a kindle. My bag is a lot easyer to carry around now, but still full to the brim. For a fresh look i always bring some suncreme, a light BB Cream and a cooling foot gel. But most important: Waterproof Mascara! To avoid dark circles araound my eyes on every single picture taken during our vacation (I speak from experience).

Barcelona AGAIN

Dieses Jahr war bis jetzt einfach unglaublich - was das Reisen angeht (aber auch sonst war es nicht so schlecht). Mein Leben lang wollte ich schon durch die Weltgeschichte reisen, und dieses Jahr habe ich endlich das Gefühl auch wirklich rumzukommen. Angefangen hat es im März in der wunderschönen Türkei, im Juni dann zwei Wochen (regnerisches, arschkaltes) England und nicht mehr lange dann liege ich im warmen Barcelona am Strand. Manche von euch können sich vielleicht noch erinnern, dass ich meinen Sommerurlaub letztes Jahr auch schon in Barcelona verbracht habe - aber einfallslos und pleite wie ich bin schien uns Barcelona eine richtig gute Idee zu sein - Wenn ich jetzt an die ganzen Shops in Barcelona denke, kommt mir meine gute Idee schon wieder, nun ja ... ein bisschen spanisch vor. Außerdem bin ich schwer verliebt in unser Hotel, träume jetzt bereits von der tollen Aussicht auf der Dachterrasse und vom frischgepressten Saft der Boqueria (UND Literweise Sangria). 

Also haut eure Tipps raus, kennt ihr tolle Restaurants, Shops die man gesehen haben muss oder einen ruhigen Strand rund um Barcelona (und ohne Cerveeeezaaaa)?

So far, this has been an amazing year - considering all the travels (well the rest wasn't bad either). Since forever i wanted to travel around and get to know new places and people, and this year i finally got the chance to travel a lot. It started in march when i went to beautiful Turkey, then in June i went to freezing cold England and in August i will spent one week in Barcelona. Well, some of you might remember, that i spent my last summer holiday in Barcelona too. But since we had no better idea and i am quite broke Barcelona seemed a pretty good idea (thinking about all the shops there, i might be more than broke afterwards). Besides i am completely in love with our hotel, already dreaming of the roof terrace and freshy squeezed juice at the Boqueria Marked (and a lot lot lot of Sangria).

Tell me your favorite places in Barcelona, the best Restaurants you know, crazy shops and maybe you know some quiet beaches around Barcelona (without people screaming Cerveeeeca?!)?

Missing Vienna

Altough i love England, i am not so happy about the weather here at the moment. In Vienna summer has finally arrived with 36 degrees, but i still have to wear my winter jacket. Let's hope summer will arrive in England soon - to lighten up my mood.

London Photo Diary

As i told you, i spent the last weekend in London. It was my third time in London and of course i visited the big touristic spots but i have never been to Portobello Road before. Notting Hill is probably the cutest part of London, i really fell in love with this beautiful street. And as you can see i finally got myself a pair of nikes! After all the walking in London my feet killed me so i decided it's time! Now i am on my way to Great Yarmouth a city on the coast of England. I am super exited to see the sea again!

Barcelona II

The Olympic swimmingpool on Montjuic (seriously how do you pronounce that???) was one of the best places in Barcelona. Although we searched an hour in the scorching heat, I really enjoyed that place. To be honest: the corridor, the dressing rooms, the toilets...well let's say it all has seen better times. (Not to say it was rank.) But the view and the pool were really nice, and I needed some time away from the beach. If you plan to go there some time, remember to get changed in you hotel room. I had to go and change in one of the toilets. While my bf was guarding our bags, I locked my self in the toilets and it was impossible to get out. Thanks to a spanish Family I got out again. But if you ignore all that you can soak up the relaxing surroundings (not very much people there) and the amazing view.

Another tip, we got from our friends was the vietnamese restaurant "Bun Bo". Very delicious food!!! The Cocktails are low-priced, and the Sangria!  - yummy. They also have a Homepage (click!)
